Equality Framework
The Equality Framework for Local Government replaces the Equality Standard for Local Government, and all local authorities will be migrating to it. In order to make the transition as smooth as possible we are offering a menu of services to help you, all lead by an Accredited Peer Assessor:
Awareness raising training
Training to help people understand the new Framework – what it involves, why it is necessary, how it is assessed and what benefits it will bring to the Council and its stakeholders.
A gap analysis with action plan
We will help you identify the good practice you are already implementing and map it against the new Framework, with an action plan of what needs to happen to reach the next level.
Preparing for assessment
If you have an assessment coming up we can help you prepare for it in terms of gathering evidence.
Elected Member briefings
It is important the Elected Members have a good appreciation of what the Framework is all about so that they can contribute to the assessment process appropriately.
Post assessment actions
